CAG Engineering Limited is one of the three manufacturing unit of JREW Group. It was started as an extension of the existing facility of its parent unit to enhance the manufacturing of components which could cater to coming up OEM’s like CLAAS India, Faiveley transport etc. To reduce the burden of pre fabrication of the components at Mohali, state of the art machines were introduced in this unit. Now it is equipped with all kinds of conventional, modern and special purpose machines to meet all kinds of challenges. The unit consists of state of the art CNC plasma cutting, Oxy fuel cutting machines, three different types of shot blasting machines and a well-equipped paint booth. Although some of the facilities are common, the facilities at our parent unit and facilities at CAG help each other in encountering some of the challenges.
The parent unit at SAS Nagar, Mohali, a satellite town of Chandigarh, is mainly into the manufacturing of medium & heavy fabricated assemblies as well as pre and post fabrication machining of those fabricated assemblies of excavators, forklift trucks and stackers. The plant is equipped with some conventional machines but mainly the heavy duty CNC machines which are state of the art.
The unit at Ballabhgarh (near Delhi) is a branch of JREW, Mohali, which was established in 2007 exclusively to fulfill the requirement of JCB front Axle in fully assembled and painted condition. The unit is equipped with a conveyer line and state of the art Paint shop and functions as JIT supplier to JCB. It consists of Short-blasting, Phosphating, baking and state of the art powder coating facility.
